CloudAccess wins prestigious 2015 Red Herring Top 100 Award

SAN DIEGO, CA – June 3, 2015 – Red Herring announced CloudAccess, a leading enterprise security solution developer, as its Top 100 North America award winner during special award ceremony in San Diego. The award was in recognition of CloudAccess’ innovative approach to integrating predictive behavior analytics and cooperative intelligence as the foundation for security.

“In 2015, selecting the top achievers was by no means a small feat,” said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. “In fact, we had the toughest time in years because so many entrepreneurs had crossed significant milestones so early. But after much thought, rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed our list down from hundreds of candidates from across North America to the North America winners. We believe CloudAccess embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture. CloudAccess should be proud of its accomplishment, as the competition was very strong.”

CloudAccess’ REACT™ (Realtime Event and Access Correlation Technology) offering served as the centerpiece for the award consideration. REACT™ is a patent-pending integrated technology that applies a unique and powerful process engine to correlate identities, access rights, user & application activities, audit logs, geo-location, and network security events to prevent and control suspect behavior based on the discovered patterns.

“The award validates that old security methods for network perimeter protections are no longer enough for the modern enterprise. The next generation which we advocate must seamlessly transform independent security elements to a centralized predictive security intelligence process,” said CloudAccess CEO Kevin Nikkhoo. “We are absolutely thrilled the judging committee made up of our peers and other subject experts at Red Herring recognized the value CloudAccess brings and that our solution is a proven path towards that value.”

Red Herring’s editorial staff evaluated companies on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technological innovation and intellectual property, DNA of the founders, business model, customer footprint and addressable market. A review of the track record and standing of startups relative to their sector peers, allowed Red Herring to see past the “buzz” and make the list a valuable instrument of discovery and advocacy for the most promising new business models in North America, complement this assessment of potential.

Nikkhoo added, “As awards and recognition of this sort is very gratifying, we are not ready to rest on our laurels. It’s our mission to promote identity analytics and integrated cooperative intelligence as the next generation of enterprise security until it’s not only a best practice, but a ‘must have.’”
